The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Danone, a global leader in food and nutrition in Africa have announced an agreement making Danone FanMilk an official partner of the ongoing WAFCON 2024 and the forthcoming AFCON 2025, www.aclsports.com reports.
The unveiling ceremony was held in Casablanca, Morocco on Tuesday afternoon.
CAF President Patrice Motsepe said, “CAF is pleased to welcome Danone as one of its official partners as this sends a strong message of growth and commitment. We will work together to meet the nutritional needs of all those involved in these competitions.”
On his own part, Danone’s CEO Antoine de Saint-Affrique said:
“This partnership fully reflects our mission which is to bring health through food to as many people as possible. The values of these competitions (AFCON 2025/WAFCON 2024) – proximity, transmission and celebration deeply resonate with those of Danone. We are proud to be part of these iconic events to showcase our brands and vision across Africa.

As Africa’s and also Nigeria’s leading fresh and frozen dairy company, Danone FanMilk is also reiterating its commitment to making lasting impact in the communities where it serves.
According to Kayode Adebiyi, the Country Director of Danone FanMilk, the company is also committed to working alongside CAF to support the African Schools’ Football Programme while nourishing the passion of football fans across the continent.
The 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON2024) going on in Morocco will end on July 26 while the Men’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2025) will start in same nation on December 21, 2025.
