NWFL champions, Bayelsa Queens, have arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, ahead of the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B qualifiers, www.aclsports.com reports.

The qualifiers, scheduled for August 23 to September 5 in Yamoussoukro, will see the Prosperity Girls continue their preparations with a light training session in Abidjan before heading to the host city on Friday.

Placed in Group B, Bayelsa Queens will battle Ghana’s Police Ladies, ASKO of Togo, and Sam Nelly of Benin Republic, with their opening match against Police Ladies set for August 24.

Club chairman, Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala, assured that the team is well prepared and determined to make Nigeria proud.
