Arsenal football club have joined Manchester City in the race for the signature of former Manchester United defender, Jonny Evans.

This latest development is due to the fact that the gunners are in search of a replacement for Inter Milan target, Shkodran Mustafi who was left out of the matchday squad against Liverpool after reportedly questioning the club’s transfer policy.

Although Jonny Evans would prefer to join Manchester City while West Brom hope to secure the services of Eliaquim Mangala; the complication however is, Mangala’s preferred option is Inter Milan who on the other hand prefer Arsenal’s Mustafi.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and West Brom would only sanction the sale of their players when they get a replacement.
