Four teams will battle for promotion to the NWFL Championship as the 2026 NWFL Nationwide enters the semi-final stage at the Enyimba Stadium in Aba on Friday, www.aclsports.com reports.
Kwara United Queens, C2E Sports Academy, Onimarg FC and Obosa FA emerged as the four group winners following the three-matchday group stage, with the semifinal winners earning promotion to the NWFL Championship and a place in the final.
In Group A, Kwara United Queens topped the standings with four points from two matches without conceding a goal. They drew 0-0 with Spunky Blazers FA before beating Solo Wonders Babes 1-0, with Amarachi Nnorom scoring from the penalty spot.
C2E Sports Academy were the most dominant side, finishing Group B with six points. They opened with a 10-1 thrashing of Bayelsa Princesses, with Agnes Ohuche netting a four-goal haul, before beating Lakeside Queens 5-0, with Ohuche adding another four goals to finish with eight goals.
Onimarg FC also secured maximum points in Group C, beating NAF Queens 3-1 before defeating Ubakala Babes 4-2. Islamiat Yusuf scored twice in the victory over Ubakala, while Adeomo Lovelyn and Onyediran Favour also found the net.
In Group D, Obosa FA topped the standings with four points after beating Plateau United Queens 3-2 and drawing 0-0 with Osklean FA. Osklean FA also finished on four points, but Obosa claimed top spot on goal difference.
