Niger United player, Aliyu Aminu has told Kano Pillars to forget about lifting the 2019 Prudent Energy Handball title. Aminu was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of Day 7 at the ongoing 2019 Prudent Energy Handball League in Lagos.

He told www.aclsports.com that losing to Kano Pillars in the first phase in Abuja was painful adding that Niger United is eyeing to the title.

Aminu said, “Kano Pillars beat us in the first phase with one goal and that made us put more effort in the second phase because we want to defend our title. We are the defending champions and we want to retain the title.

He said Kano Pillars cannot win all their remaining matches because they are facing tough opponents.

Aminu said, “It is going to be tough for Kano Pillars because they have tough matches ahead. With what we are seeing they cannot win all these tough matches. Definitely, they have to fight hard before winning against De Defenders and Safety Shooters”.

“Niger United will go all out to win our next matches in order to top the table”, he added.

Niger United defeated Kano Pillars by 29 to 26 goals.
