Ahly to host the Women’s African Club Championship

After studying the bidding for the 2019 Women’s African Club Championship, African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) honoured Ahly club to host the competition in the major 2 halls of the club from 16th to 25th March, 2019 in Cairo, Egypt.

Ahly Club offers better bidding than the other candidate to host; Carthage of Tunisia to receive the prestigious competition for the second year in a row.

The 2018 editions showed participation of 19 clubs from the whole continent making All Time Record of attendance in the competition.

CAVB put 15th of February 2019 as a deadline to receive the participating team documents.

Ahly won the last title making a record of 9 titles under their name. They are followed by Kenya Pipelines who won 6 titles.
