Nigerian Men Handball National team fell to Egypt 27-22 in their second game at ongoing Africa Nations Cup taking place at Le Palais des Sports de Libreville, Libreville, Gabon.

A determined Nigeria team possessed the first half of the match leading the reigning champions 12-10 points but a well composed Egyptians came into the second half and won 27-22.

The Egyptians have won both matches after beating Morocco 33-28 on Wednesday and still occupy the second spot in the group. Angola with two wins, but a superior goal difference lead the group.

DR Congo who lost 23-28 to Angola will face Nigeria on Friday.

Nigeria is without a win in the competition having lost their opening match 16-23 against Angola.

Angola tops the group A with four points (on goal difference) while Egypt is second having same points. In third and fourth position is Morocco as well as DR Congo

Elsewhere, Cameroon were beaten by Tunisia 26-32 points in the group A
