Nigeria to compete at one-day beach volleyball tournament

Four Nigeria Beach Volleyball players will  represent the country at the invitational beach volleyball tournament in Yaounde,Cameroon on December 29.

The scribe of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Adamu Maikano said the contingent comprise of two males and females while Imoudu francis is the coach.

The players and officials who have since left the shores of the country by road on Wednesday are expected to compete with other countries in the tournament.

The tournament which is an international event with teams from France, Canada, USA, DRC & Cameroon will be for both men and women categories with a total of 16 teams per gender equally divided in 4 pools .

The first 2 teams from each pool will advance to the final .

Nigeria representatives are expected back in the country on December 30th.
