The President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod says the Nigeria Customs Service male team must be cohesive while playing against foreign counterparts.

Nimrod who disclosed this to aclsports.com after the Zone 3 Africa Volleyball Club Championships in Lagos advised the team to get more prepared for tournaments outside the country.

“I’m full of joy that the Zone 3 Africa Volleyball Club Championship has come to an end. The Nigeria Volleyball League has commenced, the respective clubs should prepare well. I’m telling you, Customs will not find it easy in the National League because everybody is prepared”, he noted.

Nimrod stressed, “This is a club championship, it’s like in when you have Kano Pillars, Enyimba and the rest vying for trophy in football and basketball. They should go and get prepared because as a Federation, we cannot take responsibility of the club sides”.

He said, “This means Customs have to prepare for next year when we shall be having such competition and get set for the next championship in Cairo, Egypt”.

Nigeria Customs Service lost to Ghana Police Force by 0-3 points in the male event of the Zone 3 Africa Volleyball Club Championships.
