The Nigeria Custom Service (NCS) team have been drawn in the same group as 2017 bronze medallists, Prisons of Kenya and Injs of Cameroon for the 2018 Africa Club Championship in Cairo.
Other club sides in pool D of the club championship include Douanes of Burkina Faso and Asec of Cote d’Ivoire.
The Drawing of lots for the 2018 Women’s African club championship was done in Pyramisa Hotel on Monday in presence of CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani and CAVB CC President Jean Claude Mopita.
The defending champions, CFC Carthage of Tunisia will begin their quest to retain the title as they are paired with Harare City of Zimbabwe, Chlef of Algeria, BDF of Botswana and Bafia of Cameroon in pool B.
Hosts and record holders Ahly (8 titles) will battle it out in Pool A a long with Nkumba University (Uganda), Nyong (Cameroon) and Revenue (Rwanda).
In Pool C, 2017 runner up Shams will combat FAP (Cameroon), Pipeline (Kenya), DGSP (Congo) and Vision (Uganda).
The Customs of Nigeria will begin their campaign on Tuesday taking on Cameroon’s Injs by 2pm at the Hall A of the pool D, while host Aly of Egypt face Nkumba University of Uganda by 6pm in the Hall A.
