The 2025 Zenith Women’s Basketball Premier League sponsors, Zenith Bank, have announced a new top prize of ₦7.5 million as the Final 8 tips off on Tuesday, www.aclsports.com reports.

Zenith Bank, marking its 18th consecutive year of partnership with the Nigeria Basketball Federation, also confirmed ₦5 million for the runners-up and ₦3 million for the third-placed team. Individual awards worth ₦500,000 each will go to the most valuable player, highest scorer, player with the highest assist, top rebounder, and most three-pointers, while conference winners will receive ₦1 million.

The eight finalists; Air Warriors, Bayelsa Blue Whales, First Bank, Royal Aces, Dolphins, MFM, Nigeria Customs, and Titans, will battle from September 16 to 20 at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, which has been rebranded to improve the fan and player experience.

To enhance visibility, the games will be broadcast live across multiple platforms and tracked digitally through the FIBA system. More than 20 secondary schools and several universities in Lagos have also been invited to create a vibrant atmosphere in the stands.
