In the women’s 4x100m final, the quartet of Lucy Nwankwo, Success Oyibu, Chigozie Rosemary Nwankwo and Miracle Ezechukwu was disqualified after Lucy Nwankwo was ruled to have false-started before the race got underway.
The women’s 4x400m team of Faith Ezechukwu, Jecinta Lawrence, Tejiri Ugoh and Becky Ebiyadi later finished eighth in the final with a time of 3:36.89.
