Volleyball: Egypt and Tunisia book world c/ships tickets

Egypt and Tunisia made it to another Volleyball final with wins over Rwanda and Morocco respectively in the semifinal of the 2018 Men’s U21 African Nations Championship.

These semi final victories have also qualified both countries to the World Championships.

Tunisia overcame Morocco 3-0 (25-12, 28-26, 25-20) in the first semifinal held at Abuja Hall on Sunday to book the first ticket to the FIVB Men’s U21 World Championship in 2019.

Egypt outclassed Rwanda 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-22) to pick the second final berth and play against arch rivals Tunisia in the final on Wednesday.

In the play off 5 to 8 places, Nigeria overwhelm Chad 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-15), while Congo RD surprised Cameroon 3-1 (25-14, 18-25, 25-11, 25-18). Now winners Nigeria and RDC meet for the 5th position. Meanwhile losers Chad face Cameroon for the 7th place.

Tunisia v Morocco 3-0 (25-12, 28-26, 25-20)

Egypt v Rwanda 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-22)

Play off 5-8:

Nigeria v Chad 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-15)

Congo RD v Cameroon 3-1 (25-14, 18-25, 25-11, 25-18)
