Al-Hussain Club of Jordan has secured the services of former Offa VC player, Mayowa Bello ahead of the 2023/2024 Jordan Volleyball Premier League.

Bello who played for Offa Volleyball Club last season penned a one-year deal with Al-Hussain Club. Mayowa Bello won the 2022 and 2023 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League with Offa Volleyball Club.

The former Al-Ittihad Misrata player  told www.aclsports.com that his team should expect the best from him.

Bello said having gathered a lot of experience over the years, Al-Hussain Club will make a huge statement in the 2023/24 season.

He said, “I feel so happy joining Al-Hussain Club because I have heard great things about the club. I believe my playing philosophy and that of the club is the same. This is another avenue for me to gather more experiences and exposure.

“I am ready to serve my new team to the best of my abilities and achieve great things”, he added.

The former National U19 player expressed confidence in his ability to silence doubters in the league.

He said, “I have professional experience with the exposure of playing in the highest championship in Africa (Africa Clubs championship) and being a back-to-back champion of the Nigeria League; I believe and know that no player can be a threat for me anymore.

“I played against some of the best teams in Africa when I signed a short stint with Nigeria Customs Service. The African Club Championship gave me the opportunity to build on myself before I got a deal with Al-Ittihad Misrata of Libya.

“The world should expect a new era of a great player called Mayowa Bello”, he told www.aclsports.com
