Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade scored as PSG secured a 5–0 win over OH Leuven, while Flourish Sabastine made her 2026/27 UEFA Women’s Champions League debut for Benfica, www.aclsports.com reports.
Ajibade opened the scoring for PSG in the ninth minute, her second Champions League goal and first of the league phase, as well as her third of the season. Naomie Feller scored twice, with Sakina Karchaoui and Vitória Yaya also scoring in the 5–0 win. Jennifer Echegini also started, with both Nigerians substituted in the 71st minute.
Sabastine made her Champions League debut for Benfica on Wednesday as they suffered a 3–0 defeat to Bayern München. The Nigerian winger was introduced in the 77th minute, while Blessing Demehin was an unused substitute.
Shukurat Oladipo started for AS Roma as they were beaten 6–0 by defending champions Barcelona. The Super Falcons defender put the ball into her own net in the 39th minute to make it 2–0, before Barcelona added four more goals after the break. Rinsola Babajide did not feature for Roma.
Joy Omewa was introduced in the 79th minute as Häcken suffered their second Champions League defeat, going down 3–0 to Juventus. The Super Falcons striker entered the game late in the second half, while Halimatu Ayinde remained on the bench.
On Thursday, Toni Payne was an unused substitute as Inter were held to a 1–1 draw by Austria Wien. Modesta Uka put the hosts ahead in the 21st minute, but Ivana Andrés struck in the third minute of stoppage time to rescue a point for Inter.
