Nigerian league champions Enyimba FC are off to Morocco ahead of their 2019/20 Total CAF Confederation Cup (TotalCAFCC) group stage clash with Hassania Agadir (HUSA) on Sunday.

Enyimba, semi-finalists in this competition last year will face the Moroccans in their group opener at the beautiful Stade Adrar in Agadir on Sunday night.

The Nigerian side, coached by Usman Abd’Allah are scheduled to leave the country via the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Friday morning aboard an Air Maroc flight.

The flight to Casablanca, Morocco from Lagos is expected to last for just under five hours with the Nigerian contingent led by Enyimba chairman Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu scheduled to land at the Mohammed V International Airport at about 10am local time.

The contingent is expected to stay in Casablanca for a few hours before connecting a flight to the reserved city of Agadir later on Friday.

Four current Enyimba players were part of the last Nigerian side to play a game at the Agadir Stadium. The quartet of goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai and midfielders Austine Oladapo, Emeka Atuloma and Dayo Ojo were in the Nigerian squad that beat Equatorial Guinea 3-1 at the venue of Sunday’s game in CHAN 2018 with the latter scoring one of the goals.

The TotalCAFCC game between Hassania Agadir and Enyimba will kickoff at 8pm local time on Sunday.
