Super Falcons: Oluehi completes Pozoalbense move

Spanish outfit, Pozoalbense has announced the transfer of Super Falcons goalkeeper, Tochukwu Oluehi from Nigeria Women’s Premier League (NWPL) side, Rivers Angels.

Official announcement of the deal was made by the club’s twitter handle welcoming the 33 year-old Nigerian international.

Oluehi leaves Rivers Angels after six years with the NWPL defending champions and four domestic titles to join her compatriot, Evelyn Nwabuoku who also signed for the Reto Iberdrola side a couple of weeks back.

The former Bayelsa Queens goalie helped the Super Falcons of Nigeria to Gold at the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) in Ghana saving two penalties during the shootout against Banyana Banyana of South Africa following a goalless draw in added time.

She was also in goal for Nigeria against Norway at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France before losing her spot to club teammate, Chiamaka Nnadozie who has since moved to Paris FC of France after the World Cup.
