Super Falcons striker Desire Oparanozie continued her fine goalscoring form as she opened the scoring for Guingamp against Dijon at the weekend.

Oparanozie gave her side the lead in the 9th minute from a corner kick situation to make it three goals in three consecutive games.

Guingamp were however unable to hold on to the lead as Dijon scored the equaliser later on to force a crucial away point.

Uchendu Chinaza was also in action for SC Braga at the weekend against Ad Ovarense.

The left footed forward who played the entire duration of the game helped her side to an important away point as Braga played out a 1-1 draw with their opponent.

The Portuguese side went in front through Jana in the 40th minute but were pegged back by the home side in the second half.

Osinachi Ohale was on parade for CD Tacon of Spain as her side earned all three points in a comeback win against Espanyol Femeni.

Espanyol went ahead in the 42nd minute, taking the lead into the break. However, a second half comeback from Ohale and her teammates ensured they took all three points over the visitors.

Two second half goals from Jakobsson Sofia and Kosovare Asllani secured a big victory for the Spanish outfit.

Asisat Oshoala was also in action for Barcelona Femeni against Real Betis on Sunday.

It was a convincing 3-0 win by the league leaders who now have a firm grip on the title following Atletico Madrid’s 2-2 draw at the weekend.
