Super Falcons winger Francisca Ordega scored, while Ashleigh Plumptre captained Al-Ittihad as they progressed into the Saudi Women’s Premier Challenge Cup semi-finals with a 6–1 win over NEOM on Sunday, www.aclsports.com reports.

Ordega scored Al-Ittihad’s second goal in the 30th minute, doubling her side’s advantage after Leticia Nunes had earlier broken the deadlock. The Nigerian winger had also scored against NEOM in their previous league meeting, as Al-Ittihad went into the interval with a 2–0 lead.

Plumptre, wearing the captain’s armband from the start, led from the back with authority, organising the defence and ensuring Al-Ittihad remained in control throughout the contest.

Any hopes of a NEOM comeback were ended early in the second half when an own goal shortly after the restart extended the lead. Lina Boussaha then took charge, scoring a hat-trick as Al-Ittihad turned their dominance into a rout, with NEOM managing only a late consolation.

The result confirmed Al-Ittihad’s second-place finish in Group B with maximum points from two matches, setting up a semi-final clash against Al Nassr on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, at the Inaya Medical Colleges Stadium in Riyadh. In the other semi-final, six-time African Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala will line up for Al Hilal against Al Ahli.
