Edo Queens have announced the arrival of 11 new signings ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership season, www.aclsports.com reports.

The additions strengthen all areas of the pitch as the Benin City side prepare for a fresh campaign. The announcement comes alongside the unveiling of their new away kit, released just days after they presented their 2025/26 home strip.

Leading the list of additions is attacker Precious Oscar, who joins from Bayelsa Queens to bolster the frontline. She is followed by Marilyn Essien, a defender signed from Nasarawa Amazons, as the Benin City side reinforce their defensive unit.

Former Abia Angels captain Merit Ada Ofor has also put pen to paper, bringing leadership and top-flight experience to the squad. The midfield has been further strengthened with the acquisition of Chidima Ogbuche from FC Robo and Zainab Olopade from Bayelsa Queens.

Defender Praise Aigbojie returns to the club, with Edo Queens describing her comeback as “a defender returning to guard the throne where she truly belongs.” The team have also confirmed the arrival of attacking midfielder Adana Nwanchukwu, alongside Doosuur Anastasia Atume, Favour Dagogo from Ekiti Queens, and midfielder Rejoice Ikoyo. Another addition is Dorothy Eshiet, who joins from Abia Angels.

Meanwhile, the club confirmed the departure of Miracle Usani, Loveth Edeh, Adenike Olanipekun, and Ijeoma Okeke.

Edo Queens will begin the new season with an away trip to face defending champions Bayelsa Queens on Wednesday, 26 November.
