Nigeria receives a lot of support from IJF says Vizer

President International Judo Federation (IJF), Marius Vizer says the Africa continent enjoys adequate support from the international body than any other continent in the world.

Vizer who said this during an interview with www.aclsports.com during a twitter interactive session also revealed that Nigeria benefits from the support.

He stated that the role and mission of the Nigeria Judo Federation is to assure the best conditions and development in the country.

“We are supporting the African federations with the biggest budget comparing all continents. Nigeria received from IJF a lot of support”.

“The key is the role of the President of the national federation, the role and mission of the NF President is to assure the best conditions and development in the country” Vizer said

The President said international tournaments will be brought to Morocco and Tunisia adding that It has to be a joint effort and contribution from all parties.

On the promotion of Judo in Africa, he said the federation is supporting lot of Africa to take part in World Judo Championships as well as Junior tournaments.

“We bring events to Africa and a lot of events in the near future will happen in Morocco, some in Tunisia. The federation has supported a lot of African nations to take part in the IJF World Judo Tournaments” he added.
