Nigeria Customs will face USFA of Burkina Faso in the pool A of the 2019 African Women’s Club championship in Cairo on Saturday by 3pm.

The drawing of lots for the 2019 Women’s African club championship was done at Ahly Club in Cairo, Egypt in presence of CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani, Control Committee President Jean Claude Mopita, Local Organising Committee President Mohamed Serag and media from Participating countries.

The competition features 17 clubs, where they were divided in the drawing into 4 preliminary pools. Defending Champions Al Ahly heads pool A Pool A alongwith Customs (Nigeria), USFA (Burkina Faso)- Canon (RD Congo).

Pool B includes Carthage (Tunisia), DGSP (Congo), KCB (Kenya) and Sporting (Egypt), while in Pool C: Pipeline (KEN) line up against Shooting (Egypt), Revenue (Rwanda)- FAP (Cameroon).

Pool D is the toughest as it will feature previous champions Prisons (Kenya), GSP (Algeria) as well as Asec (Cote d’Ivoire)- Nkumba (Uganda) and Shams (Egypt).
