The Reds are not giving up on their pursuit of the young winger just yet as reports from France say there is a third offer from them for the Monaco ace.

Liverpool have had two bids already rejected by the French champions, but have returned with an improved offer of €80million plus Divock Origi on loan, according to reputable French outlet, L’Equipe.

Despite Monaco insisting that Lemar won’t be leaving this summer, following the departures of some key players, Liverpool aren’t ready to give up in their quest to land the 22-year-old.

With Kylian Mbappe set to leave for the capital to join rivals, Paris Saint-Germain, after Stefan Jovetic was pictured sporting the 18-year-old’s number 10 shirt at the club, ahead of a summer move, it’s interesting to see if Liverpool will be successful in prising Lemar away from Monaco.

Lemar, who has already been capped by France at international level, scored 12 times in 39 appearances last season for Monaco, as they claimed the Ligue 1 title for the first time in almost two decades.
