Kipsiror: I am ready for the Valencia Half Marathon

Kenya’s Shamilah Tekaa Kipsiror has declared her readiness for the Valencia Half Marathon 2023 next October. Kipsiror won the women’s elite race with a time of 32:22 at the recently concluded Lotus Bank Abeokuta 10km Race in Ogun state.

She told www.aclsports.com that the 10km race in Nigeria has put her in a better shape and hopes to emerge winner at the Valencia Half Marathon.

She said, “I am preparing for the Half Marathon in Spain next October and I hope to emerge winner. I came to Nigeria for the 10km Race in order to maintain my current form and have a better time. I strongly believe that impossible is nothing”.

Kipsiror expressed delight in winning the 10km Race adding that there was no challenger

She said, “I feel excited to win the women’s category of the Lotus Bank Abeokuta 10km Race and the road race was nice. I had no challenger in the race; I took charge of the race in the last 7km and maintained my top speed.

Shamilah Tekaa Kipsiror (Kenya) finished 9th position at the 2023 Istanbul Half Marathon with a time of 1:09:38.

Kipsiror ran a Personal Best (PB) at the 2023 Belgium Half Marathon with a time of 1:07:53 last March.
