Super Eagles and Rizespor midfielder Ibrahim Olawoyin is pleased with making his 100th appearance for the club in the win over Eyupspor on Saturday, www.aclsport.com reports.
The midfielder helped Rizespor beat Eyupspor 3-0 in the Turkish Super Lig match day 16 game in Rize. Qazim Laci, Samet Akaydin, and Ali Sowe scored for the hosts in the comfortable win.
In a post on his X account, the former Rangers winger thanked the fans for their support, the win, and the love he has received since moving there.
Before moving to Rizespor, Olawoyin featured for Ankara Keciörengücü, where he made about half a century of games for them. Back in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Olawoyin featured for Abia Warriors and Enugu Rangers.

The 28-year-old, who joined the Rize side in January 2023, has hit a century of caps. Over that period, Olawoyin has been able to score 19 times and has 16 assists to his name.
In the 2025/26 season so far, Olawoyin has made just 11 appearances for Rizespor due to injury and has two goal contributions. He will be looking to get a good run with the side since his return to full fitness.
Under former head coach Finidi George, Olawoyin featured in the narrow defeat to Benin in the World Cup Qualifiers in Cote d’Ivoire, and he was most recently omitted from the AFCON squad by Eric Chelle.
