Mudashiru Abdulmajeed and Adaobi Okoro were voted the Most Valuable Players on Day 3 at the ongoing Prudent Energy Handball League in Abuja.

Abdulmajeed marshaled De Defenders to beat Sokoto Rima 29-22 despite their record signing of 8 players from Niger United.

Abdulmajeed controlled the tempo of the game throughout 60 minutes despite Igwekere Joseph, Modibbo Ahmad, Mohammed Anas, Usman Suleiman and Emeka Emmanuel in the center of the park.

Despite instructions from Coach Fidelis Obi at the sideline, it could not make any difference as De Defenders stole the show.
