Arsenal Women FC, ASFAR of Morocco, Gotham FC of the United States and Brazil’s SC Corinthians have confirmed their squads for the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, www.aclsports.com reports.

The four continental champions will compete in London from 28 January to 1 February for the first-ever intercontinental women’s club title. Matches will take place at Brentford Stadium and Arsenal Stadium.

The reigning UEFA Women’s Champions League champions, Arsenal Women FC, have named a squad featuring England internationals and 2025 EURO champions Alessia Russo and Leah Williamson, alongside Spain’s Mariona Caldentey, who was part of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup-winning team.

Gotham FC, double winners of the NWSL title and the CONCACAF W Champions Cup, have included Emily Sonnett, Jaedyn Shaw and Rose Lavelle, key members of the United States team that won gold at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

CAF champions ASFAR and CONMEBOL winners SC Corinthians have also named experienced squads. Anissa Lahmari, who scored Morocco’s decisive goal at the 2023 Women’s World Cup, and 2025 CAF Interclub Player of the Year Sanaâ Mssoudy will lead ASFAR, while veteran Tamires Cássia, with over 150 caps for Brazil, will captain Corinthians.

Brentford Stadium will host the semi-finals on 28 January, with Gotham FC facing SC Corinthians at 12:30 GMT (13:30 CET) and Arsenal Women FC taking on ASFAR at 18:00 GMT (19:00 CET).

The tournament will conclude at Arsenal Stadium on 1 February, with the third-place play-off kicking off at 14:45 GMT (15:45 CET) and the final at 18:00 GMT (19:00 CET), which will determine the first FIFA Women’s intercontinental club champions, who will also claim the record-breaking prize money.
