Foremost Nigerian club Enyimba have announced the addition of Yemi Daniel Olanrewaju to its coaching staff, https://aclsports.com reports.
The young budding gaffer, who is fondly called Yema, joins the Aba Elephants after he left his role as Vandrezzer’s interim coach last week.
In the just-completed season, he was saddled with the responsibility to keep the Lions in the second division after Henry Makinwa was relieved of his duties, which he achieved at the end of the campaign.
Speaking on the addition of the former MFM assistant coach, head coach Finidi George said, “Yema is someone I have known for some time now. He is passionate about his job and has a positive mindset. He has very good qualities that will bring value to the team, so I’m very happy to have him around.”
Yema comes with a wealth of experience from all levels of Nigerian league football, having worked with Magate FC in the third tier – NLO, Vandrezzer in the second tier – NNL and MFM in the NPFL. He is also currently an assistant coach with Nigeria’s U17 men’s team, the Golden Eaglets.
