Originally part of a double-header and initially scheduled for Monday, June 2, here the match was rescheduled after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) withheld approval for the original date.

Both teams remain fully focused despite the change, having held training sessions at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. The fixture serves as a valuable warm-up as both sides prepare for upcoming international competitions.

The Super Falcons and Indomitable Lionesses share one of the fiercest rivalries in African women’s football. Tuesday’s encounter is expected to add another exciting chapter to that legacy.
