The Oluyole Warriors are campaigning on the continent for the first time in 27 years, but they have a difficult task on their hands, as they face the two-time winners of the competition in Abeokuta on Saturday.

Yanick Fodouop, who became a FIFA-badged referee in 2025, has been named the centre referee for the game, and he will be assisted by his compatriots Vincent Nkemazem Gimdoh (Assistant Referee 1) and Eric Njofang (Assistant Referee 2), while Abdou Mefire will serve as the fourth official.

Shooting Stars will be hoping to get a win and probably a handsome lead ahead of the trip to Tunisia next weekend. Mohamed Conteh of Sierra Leone will serve as Match Commissioner for the game, while Monteiro Duarte of Cape Verde will act as the referee assessor.

The match will take place at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta starting at 4 pm local time on Saturday. A second leg is on the cards next weekend in Sfax.
