Five-time World Champions, Brazil, have named their superstar forward Neymar in their 23-man squad to face Nigeria in an international friendly next month.
The Paris Saint-Germain star, Neymar, tops the star-studded team released on Friday by the Brazil Football Federation for the friendly against Nigeria at the National Stadium in Singapore on October 13.
Also listed for the encounter are Liverpool duo of Fabinho and Roberto Firmino, Manchester City’s goalkeeper, Ederson, and Alex Iwobi’s teammate at Everton, Richarlison.
Nigeria and Brazil will be meeting for just the second time ever, with the first clash in 2003 when Brazil was comfortable 0-3 winners at the opening of the then New Abuja stadium.
The highly anticipated match will take place three days after the Samba Boys have faced Nigeria’s West African neighbours and 2019 AFCON finalists, Senegal.
