AYG: Nigeria Volleyball teams qualify for Games

Nigeria junior volleyball teams (boys and girls) alongside 7 other African countries, confirmed their place in the upcoming African Youth Games with three consecutive victories over hosts, Benin Republic.

At the end of the qualifiers, team Nigeria’s male and female volleyball teams defeated Benin Republic to pick the only ticket available in Zone 3.

Just like Nigeria; the male and female teams of Tunisia, Cameroon, Egypt, Botswana and Madagascar qualified from Zone 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 respectively. While in Zone 2, Gambia boys and Senegal girls both qualified from the male and female categories.

From 17th – 27th of July, Algeria will play host to other African countries as the African Youth Games take centre stage.
