“The Nigeria Volleyball Federation has invested hugely in beach volleyball in the last five years. I have played five editions of the President Beach Volleyball Cup, two editions of the National Sports Festival, and three editions of the Beach Volleyball Tour.

“In the last two years, I have played over 100 beach volleyball matches starting from the President Cup to the beach volleyball tour.

Austin said that the beach volleyball team is being handled by some of the best beach volleyball coaches in Nigeria.

He said, “Team Nigeria players have been in camp since June 4 preparing for the African Beach Games; we are being handled by some of the best coaches in the country.

“Coach Kayode Ajilore of Nigeria Immigration Service is one of the respected coaches in the country because he has paid his dues on and off the beach volleyball court. I strongly believe his pairing with Coach Eric Kefas will give us the desired result”, he told www.aclsports.com
