World record holder Tobi Amusan delivered a commanding performance at the Rabat Diamond League, setting a new meet record and equalling her season’s best with a time of 12.28 seconds to win the women’s 100m hurdles, www.aclsports.com reports.
Amusan produced a controlled but explosive run, building into the race after a sharp start before gradually pulling away through the middle phase. She maintained her composure over the final hurdles to secure victory and break her own previous meet record of 12.45s, set last year.

Bahamas’ Devynne Charlton pushed hard in the closing stages but had to settle for second place in 12.40s, while the Netherlands’ Nadine Visser finished third in 12.47s, also recording a season’s best.
The result marks another strong step forward in Amusan’s Diamond League campaign as she continues her upward trajectory this season, progressing from a third-place finish in Xiamen to second in Shanghai and now a dominant win in Rabat.
