Member of Nigeria Beach Volleyball Commission, Bolcit Amakiri revealed that the Jos Beach Volleyball Fiesta will make a grand return in 2025.

Amakiri shared this exciting news following the conclusion of the 2024 National Beach Volleyball Star/Open Tour (first phase) in Ibadan last October.

In an interview with www.aclsports.com, Amakiri emphasized the importance of expanding participation in the sport, particularly among women and girls.

“We want to see more female athletes involved in beach volleyball,” he stated.

“Encouraging young girls to participate is vital for the growth of the sport and helps to inspire the next generation of players.”

Amakiri also addressed the need for increased investment in beach volleyball, urging private investors to recognize the potential of the sport.

“We are calling for more private investors to come on board. With their support, we can enhance the experience for players and fans alike, and elevate beach volleyball to new heights in Nigeria.”

As the countdown to 2025 begins, the Jos Beach Volleyball Fiesta promises to be an exciting showcase of talent and sportsmanship, with a renewed focus on inclusivity and growth.
