AFN shift Commonwealth Games trials to Abuja

There has been a change in venue of the upcoming Commonwealth Games trials slated for February 14-17 in Uyo.

This was confirmed via the official twitter handle of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) @AFNNGA on Friday with no reason stated.

The Commonwealth trials has now been moved from Uyo to the Main bowl of the National Stadium, Abuja.

Athletes have also been adviced to register before the February 10 deadline with a sum of 2000 naira per athlete.

2018 Commonwealth Games is scheduled to take place in Australia from April 4-15.
