Stoke City on Saturday evening confirmed the sacking of first team manager, Mark Hughes after a 2-1 shock loss to League two side, Coventry City.

Mark Hughes’ sacking was confirmed after the humiliating loss to the League two strugglers via the club’s official twitter handle.

A run of five defeats in seven Premier League games also contributed to Hughes’ departure as he leaves the club in the relegation zone after four and a half years in charge.
