First Bank Basketball Club trashed Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) 84-63 points to progress to the last four at the ongoing FIBA Africa Champions Cup Women in Angola.

Dominique Wilson scored a game high 25 points 6 rebounds and 5 assists to go with it while Nkechi Akashili added 24 points, Cecilia Okoye added 10 points and 4 rebounds.

The Zone 3 representatives had it difficult early in the game as they led by 1 point at the end of the first quarter (20-19). KPA were outplayed afterwards and had no answers to the questions thrown at them.  First Bank led with as many as 24 points going to the last quarter and was a huge mountain to climb for the Kenyans.

Selima Okumu made 12 points, 5 rebounds while Betty Maithima had 15 points, 9 rebounds, Antieno Lumutu and Felmas Koranga both contributed 10 points each. Koranga made 10 rebounds to get a double-double but not enough to overcome the resilient Bankers.
