Go Round Football Club of Omoku have appointed ace broadcaster Peter Abaje as Technical Assistant to their technical crew as they prepare for life in Nigeria’s top flight league, the Nigeria Professional Football League. The privately owned club on Saturday gained promotion to campaign in the elite league after a 4-0 victory over First Bank on the final day of the second tier league season.

Barely 72 hours after the team’s promotion, the club on Tuesday announced their technical and managerial structure in a release made available to www.aclsports.com by the club’s media personnel, China Acheru. The technical structure of the team remains virtually the same as Ngozi Elechi, the indigenous coach who steered the team to promotion is retained as the head of technical crew with Okey Eluozor as his first assistant.

The key addition to the technical crew is that of Abaje, a journalist with DAAR Communications in Port Harcourt who has his coaching badges will work as Technical Assistant/ Video analyst to the crew. Players and coaches of the club have embarked on a one-week break from Monday, October 16, 2017 and will resume preparations for the next football season on Monday, October 23.
