Volleyball: NVBF opens camp for commonwealth games qualifiers

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation has opened trials for the country’s beach male and female seniors to select players for the Commonwealth qualifiers.

In a statement obtained by aclsports.com, the trials is scheduled to hold at Kaduna, October 5th to 8th, 2017. The statement by the scribe of the federation, Adamu Maikano said Camping for the games commences on the October 11th to 23th, 2017.

Speaking on the tournament, the President of Nigeria Volleyball federation, Musa Nimrod expressed optimism on the national male & female teams qualification at the Commonwealth games qualifiers in Sierria Leone.

He noted that the open trials will afford the newly discovered male and female beach volleyball players to fight for shirts adding that the era of inviting players to the national camp by proxy is gone.

The Commonwealth qualifier is scheduled to hold between October 25th to 28th, 2017 in Sierra Leone.
