Fabregas misses out as Spain reveal 25-man squad for World Cup qualifiers

For the second time in 2 months Chelsea midfield maestro, Cesc Fabregas has been left out of the Spainish national team for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Israel.

Although his Chelsea team mates, Ceasar Azpilicueta, Alvaro Morata and Pedro Rodriguez all made the cut; Fabregas who has been a main stay in the team has been left out by coach Julen Lopetegui.

Another absentee in the team is Diego Costa who recently completed his transfer to Atletico Madrid from Chelsea but is unfit to play for the club until January.

Here’s the full list of the invited 25-man squad.

Goalkeepers: David De Gea, Pepe Reina, Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Defenders: Jordi Alba, Marc Bartra, Cesar Azpilicueta, Sergio Ramos, Dani Carvajal, Nacho, Monreal, Pique.

Midfielders: Isco, Thiago Alcantara, Sergio Busquets, Illaramendi, Iniesta, Saul Niguez, Koke, David Silva.

Forwards: Pedro Rodriguez, Alvaro Morata, Iago Aspas, Callejon, Rudrigo Moreno, Asensio.
