Tragedy struck again in Nigeria’s top tier league, the NPFL when news of the demise of Niger Tornadoes defender Hussaini Isah filtered in.

The left back, a regular with the Hamza Abara led side was named Man-of-the-match in his side’s 1-1 draw with Kwara United in a Match Day 21 game decided at the Bako Kotangora Stadium in Minna on Sunday.

His death occurred following his involvement in a road accident on Monday evening, the club said in a statement on their social media accounts.
