Nasarawa United’s head coach Kabiru Dogo is hoping to make the most of the transfer window to turn around the fortunes of his team in this season’s Nigeria Professional Football League.

The Solid Miners are in 16th place on the table after seventeen matches following their recent loss to Rivers United in Port Harcourt on Sunday.

Dogo hopes the mid-season transfer window which opened on Monday will help him solve some of the problems facing his team.

“We will definitely act in the transfer window,” Dogo told www.aclsports.com

“We are going to beef up the team, especially in the area of attack. We are going to beef up.”

United have found themselves in such precarious position after losing back to back games against MFM and Rivers United within 72 hours of each other last weekend. Dogo is however still keeping the faith.

“As far as the team is concerned; I believe in what I have, I believe in the team and I believe in my work.

“I believe we will get it right, it’s just a matter of time we will get it right. We will go back home, try to win our next game and the rest will follow,” added the former ABS coach.

The mid-season transfer window will be opened for the next 28 days. Nasarawa United will host draw specialists Abia Warriors in their next league game.
