The Super Eagles of Nigeria have kicked off their preparations for Russia 2018 world cup in positive fashion. Nigeria narrowly defeated their hosts, Poland 1-0 at Wroclaw, courtesy of a Victor Moses strike.

The Chelsea wingback converted a second half penalty to hand Nigeria a slim victory over the White and Reds, who are rated number six in the world.

Therefore, in their usual way, Nigerians took to their social media accounts to react to the win, with some question marks on how the team performed.

Here are some of the best reactions to that win;

As dead as MMM is atm, I'd rather invest in it than use my money to buy a return ticket to Russia to support this @NGSuperEagles team. 😤😤😤

No cohesion whatsoever. Particularly in attack.

First, Poland have a good goal disallowed, then they fall behind to a dive. Lol.

— Thank You For Your Attention To This Matter (@je_mc2) March 23, 2018

First impression was that was a dive. Replay confirms. Michael Oliver has bought that one from Moses.

The man himself coolly strokes it home.

The impressive Joel Obi goes off. Onazi takes his place. Baba na beg I dey beg you . Keep am simple , no go overdo the simple thing . Na God I take beg you.

— Mr. Mowiz (@MrMowiz) March 23, 2018

I don't think we can play alone with Ndidi as DM. Either Onazi play every time or we find another option as DM. Our defence needs more protection.

Uzoho looks commanding. Barking our instructions to players who are considerably his seniors in the team. He just need to work on his abilities to deal with crosses properly. I like the power and direction of his punches .

This super eagles team still needs work. Great improvement on their man-man marking.

Super Eagles weren't really good, but they gave a damn good fight...and sometimes, that's all you need. Attitude under Gernot Rohr has been good mostly.
