Ahead of the all-important CAF Confederation Cup second leg encounter against Al-Ittihad Tripoli, Akwa United’s attacking fullback, Gabriel Wassa says the club is more than ready.
United were narrowly defeated 1-0 by the Libyans in Sfax, Tunisia, in the first leg of their first round clash.
However, with the game far from over and all to play for, Wassa says the Promise Keepers are ‘110 percent’ ready for their visitors.

“We are 110 percent ready,” he said, when asked how prepared they were, in an exclusive chat with aclsports.com.
Abdul Maikaba’s men bounced back from that first leg defeat with a win against Nasarawa United in the Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL, on Monday.
The players were given Thursday evening off to unwind, and they spent it at the Cinema watching the famous Black Panther movie.
However, after a major session on Friday, the former Rivers United wingback added that the players are aware of what is at stake on Sunday.
“We know we just have to give all we have today to be where we want to,” he added. “We need to go far in the continent, [and] we will by God grace.”
The Nest of Champions in Uyo will play host to the return leg today, with the winners progressing to the next round, where they will face one of the losers from the CAF Champions League second preliminary round.
