Coach Yusuf Abdulkadir has expressed confidence that Plateau Peacocks Handball Club would have an excellent 2nd phase of the 2023 Ardova Handball Premier League.

Plateau Peacocks are currently 4th position on the log after the 1st phase of the 2023 Ardova Handball Premier League in Benin City, Edo state.

Abdulkadir claimed that his team would strive to improve before the start of the second phase in Lagos.

He admitted that the team ended the first phase not well, losing three matches which is not acceptable.

“My players have all its takes to have a positive 2nd phase of the 2023 Ardova Handball Premier League campaign,” Abdulkadir told www.aclsports.com

“The break served will serve as a build-up, as it has afforded us the opportunity to reassess the players. You are aware that Plateau Peacocks is one of the few teams using home grown players.

“Plateau Peacocks played nine matches during the first phase in Benin, where we won six and lost three which is not a good performance as far as I am concerned.

“We can still improve before the commencement of the second phase which starts on November 14th”.

Ahead of their first encounter against Imo Grasshoppers, Abdulkadir said, “Our opponent is struggling and we are going to compound their woes. Imo Grasshoppers lost seven matches, we will use them to launch our winning campaign”.
