World Police Games: Goodness, Richard and Ubah increase Nigeria Police Force medal tally

Goodness Thomas, Ogienakhi Martins and Ralph Ubah, on Thursday, increased the total number of medals the Nigeria Police Force won, consisting of two gold, two silver and one bronze.

Goodness won a gold medal in the 100 metres female category, Richard silver in 100 metres male category while Ralph Ubah (-100kg) secured a bronze medal in the Judo event at the ongoing World Police Games in Los Angeles.

The national champion, Ralph Ubah, dedicated his bronze medal to the Inspectors general of Police, Ibrahim Idris, for making it possible for him to feature at the games.

“After God Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth, my profound appreciate goes to the Inspector General of Police for believing in my ability to deliver.”

“The IG gave me the platform to excel in sports, this I must tell the world”, Ralph told ACLSports.

It will be recalled that National swimmer, Yellow Yeiyah won a gold medal in the 50 metres fly.
