The quarter-final fixtures of the 2018 women’s AITEO Cup have been confirmed with the completion of the round of 16 fixtures on Friday.

On Thursday evening, the final game in Group A didn’t hold as Bayelsa Queens Feeders refused to show up and was recorded for the defending champions of the AITEO Cup, River Angels as a walk-over.

With this win the defending champions qualify for the quarter-final top of their group with 6 points following an opening group stage 2-0 victory over Osun Babes.

In Group B, with Ibom Angels and Confluence Queens confirmed for the last eight, it was a battle of supreamcy between the two to decide who tops the group. However at the end of 90 mins, there was nothing to separate both sides apart from the better goals difference of Ibom Angels.
