Team captain Ikechukwu Ezenwa was missing from the home based Super Eagles side that left the country for Senegal on Thursday ahead of the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations.

Ezenwa is said to have been omitted from the side due to next month’s international friendly between Nigeria’s A side and Brazil in Singapore. Nasarawa United’s Mohammed Galadima has been called up in his stead.

Ezenwa is the only member of the Super Eagles B side that disgracefully lost in Togo on Sunday who is missing from the 22-man party to Senegal.

Two other players; Lobi Stars left back Udochukwu Anumudu and Wikki Tourists goalkeeper Abubakar Adamu have been called up to join the squad for the trip to Senegal.
