NWFL Premiership champions Edo Queens lost 2–1 to Ampem Darkoa to finish second in Group B of the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU-B qualifiers on Sunday, www.aclsports.com reports.
Edo Queens took the lead through Atume Doosuur in the 11th minute at Focus Sport Stadium, her second goal of the tournament, before Rebecca Assemani equalised for Ampem Darkoa shortly after the restart.
Milot Pokuaa then completed the comeback in the 78th minute as the Ghanaian champions secured a 2–1 victory to top Group B with nine points, while the Nigerian side dropped to second place.
Despite the loss, both teams advance to the semi-finals, while USFA topped Group A with six points and Dynamique FC finished second.
The semi-finals will take place on September 2, with hosts USFA facing Edo Queens, while Ampem Darkoa take on Dynamique FC in the other last-four clash.
